Hannegan Summer Series, Round 1

Round 1 of Hannegan's Summer Series had a wonderful turnout of riders, the grand stands were full and the weather was sunny and nice.

The biggest track change was the color. From the staging area it appeared that they had brought in dirt from Texas! The color was that redish orange. A closer investigation revealed sawdust; and a lot of it at that! The corner after the straight away, was the place to watch. The riders were hitting it like a burm, but it would just "POOF" dissapear and they would go squirly, trying to catch their balance. That corner seemed to get a lot of riders until they figured out that the inside line was the place to be.
