RitcheyRacer RaceReview
Hannegan Summer Series, Round 4
This evening of Hannegan Thursday night racing, was the hottest so far this year. We are going to have to start setting up the RR canopy for shade.
It was a fun night of racing with lots of new faces. I took so many more pics this week. I hope you enjoy them and you can email me for original copies at elysia@ritcheyracer.com if you would like to have any of them. No charge of course!!! I have had some requests for quad pics, so I put in a clip with a few quad shots.
The end of the evening turned out a couple injuries. I was in the infield with one of our riders, Shawna Serfling 215, after she sustained an injury to her knee in the women's race #16. Shawna's knee is very swollen and the doctors need it to receed a bit before they can see what damage was actually done. Update in a few days.
Race 17's Cole Jackson took a nasty spill on the hill before the grandstand straight away. Cole's brother, Josh reports that his femur was broken in 5 places. OUCH! Cole had surgery (a rod and a few pins) and is recovering. GBS You are in all our thoughts!
