Meet Jake Anstett #274 from Port Angeles, Washington
My name is Jake Anstett. I am 15 years old and I live in Port Angeles, WA I have been riding for 12 years and racing for 11.
Other than motocross I like to snowboard, ride bmx, and ride pit bikes.
Last year I raced at Lake Whitney and I placed 8th in the 250f schoolboy 12-15 youth class, and in the 250 B stock I finished 11th. At Oak Hill I broke my collar bone in 2 places, dislocated 5 ribs, got 10 stitches in my right arm, and bruised my right lung. I had to miss Las Vegas, and then at the Loretta Lynn Qualifier at Honey Lake I blew my knee out and couldn’t race or ride until the end of summer. I did attended the Dodge National and then I went to the Arizona open national and crashed breaking my right femur, my back on the L4 vertebra, and my left thumb. I have already began racing again this spring and hopefully I will be able to race all of the 08 nationals.
My greatest motocross accomplishment has been my 3rd place finish in the 7-11 85cc stock class and my 5th place finish in the 7-11 85cc mod class at Loretta Lynn’s Amature National in ’03.
I would like to say Thank You to all of my sponsors Thor MX, Scott USA, Pro Circuit, Puyallup Power Sports, RitcheyRacer, and my Dad Daren, my Grand Parents Betty and Frank, and everyone else that has helped me over the years that I have been riding and racing.
